When Karen Brunker’s colleague left Archer City Independent School District, she spent approximately six weeks managing the district’s entire technology workload alone.

Unfortunately, the new platform proved difficult to use, and getting support was frustrating. Its alerts also failed to provide the coverage Karen’s team needed, leading her to add free tools that further fragmented its processes.

When Cloud Monitor detects a concerning student search or other unusual behavior, Karen can quickly find the relevant information and involve the appropriate staff.
“It’s very simple because it’s all in one place,” she explains. “I don’t have to dig through Google Vault to find what I need.”
Automated alerts help Karen distinguish between activity requiring immediate attention and issues that can wait. Cloud Monitor also helps the district to save money by using the free version of Google Workspace, rather than upgrading to a paid version, while gaining the security visibility they need.
Content Filter has made web filtering easier for both members of the technology team to manage. “Even if I haven’t used it for several months, I can log in and quickly remember how to allow or block a website,” Karen explains. “The UI is very simple and intuitive.”
In the classroom, Classroom Manager restores visibility teachers deeply missed during a year without a classroom management tool. Some teachers keep it open throughout class and have even requested second monitors so they can continually see student activity.
