BOULDER, Colo.—December 8, 2020—ManagedMethods, the leading Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cybersecurity, student safety and compliance platform for K-12 school districts, today announced it has been named a winner in the 2020 Stratus Awards for Cloud Computing, presented by Business Intelligence Group. This is the second consecutive year that ManagedMethods has been named a winner of the award.
“K-12 school districts and their IT teams are becoming more reliant on cloud-based applications in order to support new remote learning environments, which has created new vulnerabilities that need to be monitored and protected against,” said Charlie Sander, Chief Executive Officer at ManagedMethods. “We are proud to be recognized by the Business Intelligence Group two years in a row for the work we have accomplished in helping protect the data of students, teachers, and staff in schools.”
More school districts have made the move to the cloud as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and have onboarded new cloud applications for remote learning. With students, teachers and staff no longer in the school building, the challenge for district IT teams to protect their online environment — as well as all the activity taking place — has significantly increased due to decreased visibility.
This award recognition for ManagedMethods follows the company’s development and launch of its new cybersecurity and student safety monitoring features for Google Classroom, Google Meet & Chat, with support for more cloud-based remote learning applications to come.
“ManagedMethods is at the forefront of the cloud helping to drive practical innovations in the cloud,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer of Business Intelligence Group. “The cloud is now part of the fabric of our personal and professional lives and we are thrilled that our volunteer judges were able to help promote all of these innovative services, organizations, and executives.”
