ABOUT MANAGEDMETHODS

ON A MISSION TO MAKE CLOUD SECURITY EASY FOR K-12 IT TEAMS

Our Mission

School districts are on the leading edge of adopting cloud applications like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to streamline administration and improve student outcomes. Unfortunately, district IT teams are not on the leading edge of cloud computing security. K-12 IT security is notoriously underfunded, and departments are overwhelmed.

ManagedMethods is on a mission to make securing sensitive information stored in the cloud easy and affordable for K-12 school districts. ManagedMethods provides a centralized command center for managing Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cybersecurity and student safety risks. The platform monitors risks in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, providing automated controls to prevent data security breaches, account takeovers, ransomware and phishing attacks, and detect student safety signals.

Founded in 2013 by industry veterans of the enterprise performance and security software sectors, ManagedMethods provides school districts with visibility and control over the data that is stored, accessed and shared in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. We make it possible for school districts to realize the productivity, collaboration, and classroom learning benefits of these cloud applications, without exposing students and staff to security and safety risks.

ACCOUNT MONITORING

What We Do

Cloud Security Made Easy

When data leaves the district network, most IT admins lose track of where it goes and who has access. ManagedMethods helps school districts secure data in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, while monitoring for risky and unsanctioned OAuth EdTech and other SaaS apps. District IT teams gain visibility into how users store, access, and share files in their district cloud accounts. It also scans emails in Gmail and Outlook for malware, phishing, and sensitive data to protect student, staff, and district information. ManagedMethods also uses advanced machine learning to monitor Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments for student safety signals, such as self-harm red flags, cyberbullying, explicit content, threats of violence, discrimination, and more.

ManagedMethods is the only cloud application security platform that can be deployed in minutes, with no special training, and with no impact on users or networks.
