This award marks the second Tech & Learning has recognized ManagedMethods for in 2021, following its Remote Learning award earlier this year.

School districts continue to be targeted by cyberattacks resulting from phishing campaigns aimed at students and staff. Phishing leads to compromised district accounts, the loss of sensitive data, ransomware, and more that impact the ability of students to learn. The increased activity outside of school when using newer tools like video conferencing in Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom—paired with more cloud-collaboration use—makes it more difficult to protect against the growing threats.
With ManagedMethods, district IT teams can better detect when phishing attempts are made and any unusual activity signaling an account takeover. IT teams can automatically suspend a district account, issue password resets, and quarantine emails and files in order to remediate any risky activity.
