Announcing the latest version of Cloud Access Monitor

It’s been an exciting and fast-paced past few months here at ManagedMethods. Our product team has been very busy and I’m extremely proud to announce the launch of the newest version of our Cloud Access Security tool, Cloud Access Monitor (CAM). We’ve made a number of product enhancements that will provide IT security professionals with even more visibility into cloud app usage so they can make educated decisions on IT policies and corporate compliance.

Here are some of the highlights:

In Depth Risk Analysis: as our CTO Al Aghili mentioned in his recent post, there are 3 types of risk that we associate with SaaS usage that security teams need to consider. CAM now monitors all 3:

  • Static Risk
  • Behavioral Risk
  • Organizational Risk

Richer Cloud Database: We’ve increased our database to include nearly 5,000 monitored cloud services, thus providing in-depth analysis of potential risk and usage of many popular cloud services used by companies.

Content Analysis:  CAM identifies files and data that are being sent outside of your organization to the cloud, and continually scans for specific risk patterns, including credit card numbers, social security numbers, and other Personal Identifiable Information.

SSL Analysis: CAM will monitor your SSL encrypted traffic and discover expired SSL certificates.

Integrations: To provide customers with increased flexibility and options, CAM integrates with several firewall products, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Checkpoint. CAM has also received Blue Coat’s ETM Ready designation and is certified with Blue Coat’s SSL Visibility Appliance.

Technology Partnerships: ManagedMethods has partnered with several industry-leading vendors including Gigamon, Ixia and Blue Coat.

To see how Cloud Access Monitor works, I invite you to watch our product tour and then scheduling a call with one of my colleagues to learn how your company can reduce its cloud risk.
