ManagedMethods Partners With Gigamon to Deliver Active Visibility Into Network Traffic and Shadow IT

Integration Provides IT Security Groups With Visibility and Insight Into All Network Traffic and Cloud Application Usage

(Boulder, Colorado – Dec 16, 2015) – ManagedMethods, a provider of cloud access security software, today announced a partnership with Gigamon, Inc., the leader in traffic visibility solutions. Specifically, ManagedMethods’ Cloud Access Monitor has been integrated with Gigamon’s Network Visibility Fabric to provide IT security groups with visibility and insight into all network traffic and cloud application use.

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with Gigamon,” said Charlie Sander, Chairman and CEO at ManagedMethods. “ManagedMethods’ integration with Gigamon’s Visibility Fabric assures our joint customers and prospects that our solutions can provide pervasive network visibility and protection against Shadow IT.”

Companies today are dealing with an entirely different cloud ecosystem compared to just a few years ago. It’s no secret that cloud application (SaaS) usage is on the rise, and the use of both sanctioned and unsanctioned SaaS apps have created an intensified risk of data leaks, malware attacks, and the problematic visibility and security issues of Shadow IT.

“Increasingly, our customers are demanding greater real-time extended visibility and control of cloud applications,” said Phil Griston, Director, Alliances Marketing and Business Development at Gigamon. “Our partnership with ManagedMethods will ensure our customers can meet their ever-increasingly complex network traffic and Shadow IT burdens.”

The integrated architecture of the Gigamon Visibility Fabric and ManagedMethods Cloud Access Monitor provides customers with rapid visibility of converged networks and protection against Shadow IT threats. About
