Launched today in New York, the #wefightsmart campaign highlights the need to transform network security, making the world’s networks safer, by giving security technologies the visibility to threats they have lacked to date. Gigamon’s GigaSECURE platform provides a security solution that provides pervasive visibility to ManagedMethods’ cloud discovery and control offering. The combined solutions provide a powerful tool to secure corporate networks and fight Shadow IT.

ManagedMethods’ Cloud Access Monitor integrates with Gigamon’s GigaSECURE to provide IT security groups with visibility and insight into all network traffic and cloud application usage. Any link at headquarters or from remote locations can be tapped and the traffic delivered to a ManagedMethods dashboard where cloud applications are flagged. Gigamon’s GigaSECURE can also be used to decrypt and forward SSL encrypted to Cloud Access Monitor for analysis. Together, Gigamon and ManagedMethods provide customers with real-time visibility of converged networks and protection against a Shadow IT blindside.
