Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled software developer with experience in both Java and Python to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining a SaaS service. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable software applications using Java
  • Maintain ML models using PyTorch ( prior ML experience is nice to have but not mandatory )
  • Collaborate with Ops, Support and QA to identify and prioritize software development requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying and resolving technical problems
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies
  • Participate in software testing and quality assurance activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in software development with Java and Python
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems (DBMS)
  • Experience with software development tools and environments such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, and PyCharm
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Software QA Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our cyber security SaaS products. You will work closely with our development team to identify and fix bugs, and you will also be responsible for writing test plans and test cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute tests to ensure the quality of our cyber security SaaS products.
  • Work closely with our development team to identify and fix bugs.
  • Develop Automated tests and test plans using Testcafe/Selenium etc
  • Write test plans and test cases.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest testing tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Some coding experience is preferred.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI).
  • Experience with a variety of testing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a geographic territory, cultivate new relationships, educating prospects, and ultimately driving new sales to exceed revenue targets
  • You will conduct sales presentations, demonstrate the product, and perform calls and emails necessary to develop a strong relationship with the prospects
  • Demonstrate an effective approach to developing your territory and keeping a business plan up-to-date, and building on a proper sales strategy. This includes having an in-depth knowledge at all times of your territory, market trends, competitor activity, and budgetary constraints
  • Ongoing learning of product and sales techniques. This is a technical SaaS product and changing market, that requires you to upgrade your knowledge and demonstrate this expertise in conversations with prospects
  • Manage product evaluations, and coordinate with sales engineers to provide a high level of success through our standard 30-60 day evaluations
  • You will report to the Director of Sales, produce sales forecasts, and use Salesforce, HubSpot Sales Hub, and other tools

Required Experience and Skills:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of technology/SaaS sales or equivalent experience
  • Ability to learn and explain technical concepts to prospective customers
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with solid communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and aggressive environment
  • Enthusiastic personality with the ability to create rapport quickly
  • Experience selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions in the cybersecurity industry a plus, but not required
  • Have a valid US driver’s license
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 3-5 days per month
