As K-12 schools increasingly embrace online learning and cloud-based productivity applications, new cybersecurity concerns arise.
Boulder-based ManagedMethods, which provides a cloud-based security platform for midsize customers, discovered that schools are now its largest – and fastest-growing – market.
ManagedMethods now secures over 1 million user accounts for cloud-based apps in over 70 school districts, the company reports.
“We didn’t set out on a mission to have schools as our major market, but we saw that K-12 school districts around the country had some really specific needs about protecting the private information of their students,” said Chairman and CEO Charlie Sander.
